Congratulations and welcome to The University of Queensland Doctor of Medicine (MD) program.
You're about to embark on an exciting new chapter in your career. To prepare you for starting at UQ, we've developed this getting started page, which provides you with key contact details and requirements for the MD.
The content here and on the Starting at UQ homepage will help you navigate all the new systems you will use as a UQ medical student.

2. Compulsory Program Requirements
The Inclusive Medical Education: Guidance on medical program applicants and students with a disability guidance document has been developed by Medical Deans for use in professional entry level medical training with the aim of providing the greatest access for students with a disability while ensuring safe clinical training.
It is highly recommended that you read and understand the guidelines and complete the survey as soon as possible after accepting your offer into the MD program.
Work Integrated Learning requirements
Please take note of the approximate timeframes for completion of the pre-placement requirements. Failure to complete all your requirements by the deadline may affect your enrolment, ability to attend placement and complete your program.
