Help shape medical workforce developments
The Medical School is participating in the Medical Schools Outcomes Database (MSOD) Survey and invites your input.
The MSOD is a national survey involving all final-year medical students in Australia. This is your chance to shape the policies that will impact your career pathways and improve medical education for future students.
The MSOD provides invaluable information and insights into decisions being made about medical education and health workforce planning – both by the Medical School and the Australian government – and your voice in this is crucial.
Your data is anonymised and kept confidential; your name and personal data will be removed from your responses and all the data is stored with strict security in place. Neither medical schools nor other stakeholders receive any data that could link you back to any of your responses.
Who is invited to complete the Survey? All onshore medical students in Australia, completing their final year of study.
(UQ-Ochsner students are not included, as the survey seeks information primarily from Year 4 students who intent to work in Australia.)
How long does it take? Only about 10 minutes.
What data does it collect? Demographics, experiences, career intentions and preferences of final year Australian medical school students.
How do you complete the survey? You can access the survey here.
Complete the survey by the closing date of 31 December 2025 and you will go into a draw to win a $150 cash prize. View Terms and Conditions (PDF, 112.1 KB) for the prize draw.
