Information for Onshore Domestic & International Students
Onshore Domestic and International Students who are not part of the UQ-Ochsner MD program have the opportunity to apply for clinical immersions in Year 4 for the Clinical Extension and Elective terms. Placements are subject to availability. Please refer to UQ Learning Community Immersions for additional details.
The information listed below is specific to clinical placements at Ochsner.
10. Housing information
Students are responsible for their own travel arrangements and housing accommodations. The Ochsner Clinical School does not provide housing for students. Previous students have found housing accommodations through Airbnb and discussing possibilities with Ochsner students in New Orleans by contacting the Ochsner Medical Student Association - www.ochsneromsa.org.

Redamo Suites offers fully furnished studio suites and rooms with flexible plans whether you are staying for weeks or months. It is located approximately one kilometre from the UQ-Ochsner Health Main Campus. View Redamo Suites brochure.

The Brent House Hotel is located on Ochsner's Jefferson Highway Campus, which can be useful for short-term accommodations.
