Onshore Student Placements at Ochsner

Information for Onshore Domestic & International Students

Onshore Domestic and International Students who are not part of the UQ-Ochsner MD program have the opportunity to apply for clinical immersions in Year 4 for the Clinical Extension, Elective, and PRINT terms. Placements are subject to availability. 3. Elective Applications

Onshore Students who wish to undertake their Elective at the Ochsner Clinical School should submit their online application by the following deadlines:

  • 19 October 2026 for Terms 1 and 2 – Outcome released by 6 November 2026
  • 26 February 2027 for Terms 3 and 4 – Outcome released by 12 March 2027

Application outcomes will be sent to students’ UQ email address.
