Onshore Student Placements at Ochsner
Information for Onshore Domestic & International Students
Onshore Domestic and International Students who are not part of the UQ-Ochsner MD program have the opportunity to apply for clinical immersions in Year 4 for the Clinical Extension, Elective, and PRINT terms. Placements are subject to availability. Please refer to UQ Learning Community Immersions for additional details.
The information listed below is specific to clinical placements at Ochsner.
4. PRINT Applications
Onshore Students intending to apply through the U.S. Match and who wish to undertake their Pre-Internship (PRINT) immersion at the Ochsner Clinical School may submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) by submitting their online application. For applications to be considered, students must have passing scores for Step 1 and Step 2 CK.
- Applications are currently open and will be processed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
- Application outcomes will be sent to students’ UQ email address the week of 15 June 2026.
- Applications will continue to be considered through to 17 July 2026.
Students undertaking their PRINT term at Ochsner will be required to attend the Learning and Development Week at Ochsner.
As part of the EOI process, students submit the online application form to indicate their preferred disciplines and provide documentation of passing scores for USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 CK by uploading official score reports.
