Onshore Student Placements at Ochsner
Information for Onshore Domestic & International Students
Onshore Domestic and International Students who are not part of the UQ-Ochsner MD program have the opportunity to apply for clinical immersions in Year 4 for the Clinical Extension, Elective, and PRINT terms. Placements are subject to availability. Please refer to UQ Learning Community Immersions for additional details.
The information listed below is specific to clinical placements at Ochsner.
1. Clinical Immersion Duration
Onshore Students undertaking their Clinical Extension, Elective, and/or PRINT term(s) at Ochsner are required to complete the full 8-week immersion experience.
The Clinical Extension, Elective, and/or PRINT immersions must be completed in two 4-week rotations, across 2 different disciplines.
