The flourishing of flexibility

Creating with paint using fingers, brushes and markers allowed the tutor and past coordinator the time and space to reflect on the evolution of the MMH Art therapy program. After years of dead ends to being a participant in planting the roots of a program was exciting and scary.  

Being a part of nourishing this growth amidst the twists, turns and tangled branches has been a privilege. Learning has been at the core of this journey and the artist has not only learnt theory and skills but how to bend not break in the wind, stand firmly when needed and above all enjoy the sunshine and the rain. Witnessing the colour now and in the future as an observer will be rewarding.
