Towards the glimmer

The image of a knotted bunch of vines anchored in darkness grows towards a gleaming light, with rough, irregular flowers slowly unfurling. As a recipient, student, provider and teacher of art therapy, my own journey has been imperfect and messy. However, the use of art in supporting the ever changing landscape of emotions through the lifespan has shown me joy and evolution in ways other therapies may not fully allow for.
