Clinical Placements at Ochsner
Information for Onshore Domestic & International Students
The Ochsner Clinical School offers students the opportunity to experience a medical education from two world-class academic medical institutions: UQ Medicine and Ochsner Health in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Students who are not part of the UQ-Ochsner MD program (onshore domestic and international students) have the opportunity to apply for Year 4 placements at the Ochsner Clinical School. Placements are subject to availability. Please refer to Ochsner Clinical School Placements for details to apply.

6. Ochsner computer access
Ochsner computer access is created for visiting onshore UQ students prior to commencing clinical placements at Ochsner Clinical School. Students with confirmed placements at Ochsner will receive a notification of access details and login credentials via their UQ student email accounts. Students who have not received these details within four weeks of the clinical placement should contact med.ocsStudentAdmin@enquire.uq.edu.au..
Setting up Ochsner access
Using your Ochsner User ID and temporary password, which will be sent to your UQ student email from ISProvisioning@ochsner.org, enroll in MyPassword to reset and create a new Ochsner password. Refer to the MyPassword Enrollment instructions. Students must enroll in MyPassword before accessing the online modules. Once you have completed the MyPassword enrollment, you can login to the Ochsner Learning Network (OLN).
NOTE: Students may experience difficulties accessing the websites for MyPassword and OLN, while still in Australia. For many complex reasons, the Ochsner.org sites are not always accessible everywhere in Australia. The sites are definitely accessible on campus at St. Lucia and Herston, and anywhere in the CBD of Brisbane.
