Student and Academic Administration (Medical School)

The Student and Academic Administration team is responsible for the coordination of course related administration and the delivery of high-level support to the respective Mayne Academies and the Medical School. The team contributes to the success of the Medical School's programs and courses through the provision of policy advice to clinical academics, student coordinators and students, to enable the effective delivery of teaching and learning activities. The team also supports assessment, curriculum development and implementation to achieve optimal learning objectives for students, working with Course Coordinators and eLearning to maintain UQ learning resource systems.

Course Administration

Course Administrators are responsible for the coordination of course related administration and the delivery of high-level support to the Discipline Head in their respective Mayne Academy. Their roles contribute to the success of the MD Program through the provision of policy advice to clinical academics, student coordinators and students, to enable the effective running of discipline rotations. They also support assessment, curriculum development and implementation to achieve optimal learning objectives for students, working with Course Coordinators and eLearning to maintain UQ learning resource systems.

MD Design

MD Design Course Design and Implementation Leads

The Course Design and Implementation Group leads have responsibility for the development of the detailed design and implementation plan for the courses in the new UQ MD.  The course design will encompass the development of specific learning activities, identification oof assessment modalities and tasks, and the articulation of a detailed course schedule and implementation for a specific course.
