Dr Asela Olupeliyawa

Asela supports the teaching and learning of students enrolled in courses within Years 3 and 4 of the Medical Program, coordinating with clinical units and Mayne Academies on educational issues and reviewing teaching and learning, and assessment activities within courses as well as longitudinally. Asela is also Chair of the Year 3 & 4 Advisory Group.

As Senior Lecturer for Assessment, Asela continuously develops, updates, and implements new guidelines and protocols for written examinations, and provides professional development workshops and training sessions in order to improve the quality of the MD written assessment. Asela also supports the implementation and delivery of electronic exams and benchmarking collaborations.
