Why study through the Darling Downs - South West Medical Pathway?
- Obtain two qualifications – Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences (Medicine Pathway) (BBMP) and Doctor of Medicine (MD)
- Articulate directly from BBMP to MD programs (no additional applications)*

Undergraduate/Provisional entry
Students have the option to study the Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences (Medicine Pathway) immediately after Year 12. This program directly articulates to The University of Queensland’s Doctor of Medicine program. Please ensure you read admissions requirements in detail.
Graduate entry
Students completing undergraduate studies through other pathways, or who already have a degree which includes the prerequisites, are able to apply to The University of Queensland’s Doctor of Medicine through GAMSAT for the Graduate Entry Pathway. Career pathways
Undertake internship, work through your Junior Doctor years and enter regional vocational and pre-vocational career pathways.
