UQ Health Care Campus Clinics

As a UQ student (onshore in Australia), you can access health services through UQ Health Care clinics, conveniently located at UQ St Lucia and Gatton campuses.

Medicare bulk-billed consultations* are available to UQ domestic students with a valid Medicare card through UQ St Lucia and Gatton Medical Centre clinics on campus.

For UQ international students with overseas student healthcare cover (OSHC), UQ St Lucia Medical Centre and UQ Gatton Medical Centre can directly bill consults to students covered with Allianz.* If your consultation cannot be directly billed to your OSHC provider, you will need to pay at the time of your consultation and then seek a rebate from your insurer.* Please contact your OSHC provider to confirm if other health care services, including those listed below, may be eligible for cover under your OSHC policy.

(*Please note, certain procedures may incur an out-of-pocket cost).

Access to UQ Health Care consultations is by appointment only. Appointments are only available to UQ’s staff, domestic students, international students, and international students’ dependants. Fees are subject to current UQ Health Care policies. You can access further information and online bookings for UQ Health Care consultations on the UQ St Lucia Medical Centre or UQ Gatton Medical Centre websites.
