Community Outreach

The OMSA Office of Community Outreach is dedicated to facilitating opportunities for UQ-Ochsner students to give back to the community, both in the New Orleans area as well as several projects abroad. As an organization we believe it is critical for students to invest themselves in community service projects as a way of enriching their time in medical school. As such, we are open to hearing about any projects that our students might be interested in, and of which we are unaware, so if you have something you would like help with, please let us know at OMSAOutreach@ochsner.org. If you complete any volunteering outside of the Volunteer Event Portal, please email OMSAOutreach@ochsner.org.
