Greenslopes Private Hospital is one of Australia’s leading private teaching hospitals, owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care. The hospital is recognised as a leader in teaching and research in Australia's private health care sector and the only private hospital to boast a fully-fledged clinical unit on campus.
Greenslopes Clinical Unit is integrated into the heart of hospital facilities and many resident specialists have academic appointments and are actively involved in teaching students. Our emphasis is on both undergraduate and postgraduate training of the future medical, nursing and allied health workforce.
Headed by Professor Rachel Thomson, Greenslopes Clinical Unit is located at Greenslopes Private Hospital, 5km to the south of the Brisbane CBD.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE: Ramsay Health Care (including Greenslopes Private Hospital) still require students to have 2 documented doses of an approved COVID-19 vaccine. Students who are not vaccinated against COVID-19 are unable to attend placement at Greenslopes Private Hospital (nor can they be allocated to the Central Learning Community).
