UQ-Ochsner Graduates

UQ-Ochsner's Office of Student & Academic Affairs can assist UQ-Ochsner alumni with multiple needs after graduating from the UQ-Ochsner MD Program.

Fellowship Applications

• When applying for a fellowship through MIDUS, you can assign the task of uploading your documents to us at med.ocsStudentAdmin@uq.edu.au. The EFDO Medical Institution Document Upload Service (MIDUS) allows medical schools to directly upload the Medical Student Performance Evaluation (MSPE) and medical school transcript to the EFDO on your behalf.
• Once we are notified, we will upload your documents and you will receive confirmation of the completion.
• If you apply to a program that isn’t through MIDUS, we can send the documents directly to the program manager/program director if you provide the contact details. Please note that we cannot release your MSPE directly to you.

Medical Education Verification

The Office of Student and Academic Affairs (SAA) is responsible for handling medical education verification for The University of Queensland Medical School – Ochsner.

Email med.ocsStudentAdmin@uq.edu.au with the following information:

• Full name at the time of graduation
• Date of graduation
• Any required forms or instructions needed to complete the medical education verification
• Contact information for the SAA team to submit your verification - i.e. state board address or email address

Please allow 7 to 10 business days for processing of most verifications. For questions regarding verifications, contact the SAA office at med.ocsStudentAdmin@uq.edu.au for assistance.

Please do not send multiple requests, as this slows down the processing of all requests.

It is essential that you carefully review the instructions provided by the state board prior to submitting your request to the Office of Student and Academic Affairs.  Medical education verification processes vary greatly across the country, and failure to complete the appropriate process will delay your verification.

Texas Medical Board

The school code for The University of Queensland Medical School—Ochsner MD program is 14305.1. When completing the online application, it is important to select or enter the correct school code. Failure to do so may cause delays in processing, as board staff will need to follow up and clarify with the applicant and/or the medical school to correct the information.
