Accelerated Treatment of endocarditis : the POET-2 trial.

This global trial follows-on from the widely quoted POET trial, but instead of an oral treatment arm, this trial has only intravenous antibiotics with the general principle of randomization to either conventional treatment duration versus abbreviated treatment duration in selected cases of left-sided endocarditis (Staphylococcal and Streptococcal variants)
