Cai Fong is currently a MD and PhD candidate at the University of Queensland. He is currently undertaking bioethics research with the Faculty of Medicine, attempting to characterise the structural elements and ethical frameworks that construct the experience of Chinese-Australians within the Australian healthcare system.

 

In the past, Cai has been involved with multiple research projects across the UQ Thoracic Research centre, the UQ Diamantina Institute and the UQ School of Biomedical Sciences. His most recent research experience was in the World Health Organisation, working with the department of Reproductive Health and Research in reviewing their usage of frameworks around informed consent to services, sex and marriage.
