
Bio
Amanda has been a Lecturer, Course Coordinator and Research Supervisor for many years within the Master of Mental Health program. She has a Bachelor of Social Work (UQ), has a Graduate Certificate of Autism Studies, completed her Master of Mental Health at UQ, and is currently a Doctoral Candidate in Therapeutic Arts Practice. She is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and is a Registered Art Therapist AThR and Supervisor, working in private practice.
Interests
Arts based therapy and research, creative writing and fictional storytelling in mental health practice, health care ethics, clinical supervision, lived experience in health professionals.
