I have been involved with research projects since my third year of undergraduate studies, where I wanted to gain some additional experience and broaden my horizons. I have a strong interest in field of haematological conditions and transfusion medicine. This interest was further consolidated when I had an opportunity to undertake a research project-based course, where I was able to have firsthand experience with developing my research skills and finishing a research project on leukemia stem cells from start to finish. From this, I became dedicated to the career path of a clinician-scientist and started my MPhil project.
