Dr Lynne Reid is a senior lecturer at the University of Queensland, specialising in musculoskeletal medicine, sports injuries, and preventative health. With over 20 years of clinical experience, she emphasises translating research into practical, patient-centred care. Her teaching spans undergraduate and postgraduate levels, focusing on general practice, biopsychosocial care, and musculoskeletal assessment.

Her academic interests include applying the biopsychosocial model to patient management, optimizing recovery from musculoskeletal injuries, and addressing health challenges such as burnout and menopause. Dr Reid is actively engaged in curriculum development, mentoring, and fostering student engagement in evidence-based medicine and clinical practice.

In addition to her academic work, Dr Reid is a working GP in the community and a co-owner of three musculoskeletal clinics in Brisbane.
