Chengjun (Olivia) Liu is the research assistant for RELEASE in RACF (REdressing Long-tErm Antidepressant uSE in Residential Aged Care Facilities): A qualitative exploration of stakeholder perspectives on antidepressant use in residential aged care. 

She graduated with a Bachelor of Nursing in 2021 and has recently completed her MPhil degree at the Queensland University of Technology. Olivia’s MPhil research focused on investigating the elements of care that contribute to quality in-home respite care for people living with dementia from the perspectives of formal care workers, Australian aged care guidelines and standards, and international literature. Olivia possesses experience in conducting qualitative research. She also works as a research assistant intern, volunteering with Cancer Council Queensland.

Olivia is a registered nurse with working experiences at the residential aged care facility and also has three years experience as an Assistant in Nursing. Her passion lies in contributing to research projects related to aged care with the overarching goal of enhancing the quality of care provided to older people.
