UQ student systems
Getting started at UQ
Starting at UQ will help guide you through planning your studies, preparing for semester and more.
SI-net
SI-net is a core business application of the University that supports student related activities across all campuses including admissions, enrolments, examinations, calculation and charging of fees and degree progression checking. As a student it is where you will update personal and contact details, enroll in courses, review fee liability, and view grades.
myUQ
myUQ is a great hub for information and services available to UQ students.
MyRequests
Available via myUQ, myRequests allows you to track all applications and requests made to UQ and the Faculty of Medicine. If you wish to interrupt your studies, change personal details, apply for credit exemption, or even an assessment remark, these applications are submitted and tracked via myRequests. The full list of possible requests can be viewed via your myUQ account.
Blackboard
UQ uses Blackboard as its learning management system (LMS). Each of your courses will have its own Blackboard site accessible from Learn.UQ. In addition to the course sites, there is a community site for general announcements, opportunities and information. Blackboard is an essential tool that you will use regularly, so we recommend you familiarise yourself with it. Learn more about Blackboard and how to use it.
Electronic Course Profile (ECP)
Every course at UQ has an ECP. The ECP contains important information about course requirements, and must be read carefully. You can access a course specific ECP via Blackboard course sites, or through my.uq.edu.au/programs-courses, by entering the course code into the search feature and following the links. The left hand menu contains detailed information about aims and objectives of the course, learning resources and activities and information about assessment.
