Testimonials

The preceptors are immensely passionate for providing clinical-based learning opportunities. It was an excellent, rewarding, but challenging placement, as life in medicine will be.

The registrars did an excellent job of teaching, were very welcoming and supported us to try new things, I really enjoyed learning from them. The nursing staff were also fantastic.

The preceptor is perhaps one of my favourite mentors through my medical degree. I have never felt more supported while on placement. He approached teaching in a very non judgemental, non condescending way that genuinely sparked my interest. He explained concepts where I had gaps in my knowledge rather than trying to make me feel dumb for not knowing certain things. He is very respectful and knowledgeable and also always made me feel supported in terms of living in a rural place alone for 6 weeks. I really recommend this placement to future students.

All the doctors at the practice were very knowledgeable and experienced, encouraging us to get hands on experience and offering learning opportunities.
