Testimonials

Overall, my experience in Goondiwindi has been absolutely incredible! The clinical staff have been supportive, encouraging and inspiring, and the town has been so very welcoming. It has been such a privilege to practice medicine here and I'll endeavour to come back!

I had an absolutely fantastic time in Goondiwindi! The staff were friendly and very inclusive, and they allowed me several opportunities to take patient histories, perform exams, practice clinical reasoning and develop my clinical skills. It was a very supportive learning environment, and I was able to work with several different clinicians. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Goondiwindi and would highly recommend it to other students.

Goondiwindi is an incredible place to practice medicine! Be prepared to be inspired, have a go, and be encouraged out of your comfort zone!

Being able to go between the GP clinic and the hospital meant that I got a wide range of experience and got to see how rural generalists go between the two to provide care for the community. All of the GPs and doctors in the hospital were welcoming, helpful and encouraged us to be involved. I have nothing but good things to say about my clinical experience here.
