Together with Professor Riitta Partanen, Dean, Medical School, we are delighted to invite you to a special morning tea and networking event with the Rural Clinical School team and esteemed partners from The University of Queensland.
This is a significant milestone and important occasion for all MD students commencing their studies at our Rockhampton Rural Clinical Unit to attend.
Please arrive at 8:15am for an 8:30am start.

This event will offer a unique opportunity to:

About MD Orientation 2026
Congratulations on reaching the next important stage of your medical education journey. We are very much looking forward to welcoming you to our Doctor of Medicine (MD) program at our multiple clinical schools across Queensland.
We have put together a diverse schedule of activities to introduce you to the University, medical program and what to expect during your studies. Throughout the first 3 weeks, you will engage with key members of the Medical School community, including Directors of our Clinical Schools, as well as a broad range of academic and professional staff. . Each of these people will play a key role in your learning and development as a future medical practitioner. There will also be opportunities to meet student representatives as well as other students in your cohort.
