Testimonials

I really enjoyed my time out in Dalby! I chose to do the EPP program which I felt was such a valuable experience. I’ve learnt a lot out of skills out here that I otherwise don’t think I would have due to the smaller size of the hospital and willingness of the patients to let the med students have a go.

I have loved my placement in Dalby. I enjoyed rotating day to day through different parts of the hospital (eg ward, ED, maternity) as it kept it exciting and fresh.

I have absolutely loved every minute of my placement at Dalby Hospital. Every doctor, nurse, allied health worker, etc has been so friendly and so keen to teach. I have been included in every patient interaction, trusted to review patients alone and report back to the SMO, cannulate, examine.

I had a wonderful time in Dalby hospital. The opportunities to work independently with support was fantastic. The SMOs were amazing at facilitating this supervised/supported independence. The nursing staff were great and very willing to share their wisdom.
