Testimonials

My time at Ashfield Country Practice was nothing short of incredible. I was welcomed with open arms, and was fortunate to receive ongoing support throughout my placement. I felt like part of the team, assisting nurses and doctors in any way I could. Staff at ACP are kind, generous with their time, and eager to teach and guide students. I will always be grateful for my time spent there.

As an accredited Indigenous Health Centre, Ashfield Country Practice prides itself on caring for vulnerable populations, with a focus on Indigenous Healthcare and a mental health focus for those who have served for our country. I had the most phenomenal time at this practice, and consider it to be my favourite placement of medical school so far.

All the staff at Ashfield, whether medical or not, go above and beyond to deliver genuine, passionate and holistic health care. Despite my short placement, I was welcomed into their family instantly, and subsequently learnt so much and made many new friends and lifelong professional contacts. Through this placement, I have been inspired to pursue a career in general practice, particularly rurally.  I cannot recommend this placement enough to fellow students!
