Brief synopsis:
Clinical students interested in research are invited to look at the projects available at QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute. Our research is focused on cancer, infectious disease, mental health and chronic disorders.
We have a number of projects that are flexible for clinical students and we have competitive PhD scholarships for students interested in the MD-PhD intercalated pathway.
There are also opportunities to get research experience through the Summer Research Scholarships - look for QIMR Berghofer projects! You can also volunteer as well to gain some research skills.
