Brief synopsis:
We have multiple wet lab and clinical projects available for UQ students looking to do lung and airways research, including:
- COPD
- lung cancer biomarkers (tissue microarray, exosome)
- lung microbiome
- air pollution
- volatile organic compounds in breath
- low dose CT screening
- dietary fibre supplementation for lung health
- mesothelioma
- clinical staging
We welcome PhD, MPhil, Hons and Undergraduate students looking to a research component, as well as student volunteers looking to do a short research project for laboratory or clinical experience.
