Type of work: Chart reviews, Clinical work, Literature review, Statistical analysis, Systematic review, Wet lab work 

Brief synopsis:

We have multiple wet lab and clinical projects available for UQ students looking to do lung and airways research, including:

  • COPD
  • lung cancer biomarkers (tissue microarray, exosome)
  • lung microbiome
  • air pollution
  • volatile organic compounds in breath
  • low dose CT screening
  • dietary fibre supplementation for lung health
  • mesothelioma
  • clinical staging

We welcome PhD, MPhil, Hons and Undergraduate students looking to a research component, as well as student volunteers looking to do a short research project for laboratory or clinical experience.
