Rosie is a University of Melbourne BSc(Hons) graduate, currently completing an intercalated MD-PhD at the Mater Mother's Hospitals. Her honours thesis investigated the effect of perinatal risk factors on the arterial health of adolescents, and was based at the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne.

Her PhD is being supervised by Prof Sailesh Kumar and will investigate the maternal, obstetric and perinatal outcomes of pregnancies complicated by socio-demographic, medical, surgical or intrapartum risk factors. She is passionate about maternal and child health globally, and looks forward to a career tying together research, clinical work and public health in this field.
