• Kate graduated from her MBBS in 2016 and received her MSc in 2017
  • Kate was born and raised in Canada and moved to US when she was a teenager.
  • Prior to medical school, Kate completed an MSc in biochemical molecular biology  studying the insulin receptor and Glut 4.

Research

Kate’s research examines smoking cessation promotion in pediatric clinics.

Her research investigated the effects of increasing pediatricians’ rate of screening for second hand smoke exposure, counseling caregivers to stop smoking and referring caregivers to smoking cessation programs.
