Placement Information for Year 2 2024
GP Placements
The placement is a full day GP clinical immersion and students will have the opportunity to preference from available placements based on their CBL group allocation. Preferencing dates can be found here.
Due to the availability of placements from the GP clinics, your allocated placement may be within or outside of your Learning Community. If you or family members currently attend a GP clinic as a patient or staff member, please list these practices last when preferencing the clinics. Please allow for travel time to and from your placement.

Collaborative Care and Outpatient Clinic Placements
Students will be allocated to their Collaborative Care and Outpatient Clinic placements based on clinician and timetable availability - there is no preferencing. Placements may be in a hospital, community based, within a private practice or home visits. Students will be emailed once they have been allocated to a placement, with further information available in the Placements system. .
