Bio

Farah has been a Lecturer on the Master of Mental Health Program for several years. Farah completed the Master of Mental Health (Art Therapy) though the University of Queensland in 2011, registered with the Australian, New Zealand, and Asian Creative Arts Therapy Association (ANZACATA). Her work has been with transcultural Australians, working across the lifespan; in particular; complex and intergenerational trauma. Farah has worked extensively with marginalised communities to support collective healing in a culturally appropriate manner.

Interests

Farah’s areas of interest and experience include refugee and asylum seeker trauma, cultural ways of healing. She works with a strong social justice framework.
